Thanks for this word of exhortation and all the Biblical examples. God has truly given us all we need in His Word, and we can have assurance based on His great promises. When He changes us, it is real!

I like to use the term "Evidence of Grace." Evidence is not good works alone, or just a new way of thinking, or a felt love for God's Word - it's probably all three (and more) in some measure. These work together to bolster our assurance. But if there's no evidence of grace, there's probably no faith. It's like the old saying, "Where there's smoke - there's fire."

I've been wondering this for awhile - are you the one in the video? If so, I'm glad we share a similar hairstyle. :)
